Therapy for Partners of Sex & Pornography Addiction

Specialized support for partners navigating the trauma of a loved one's sexual or pornography addiction, from a therapist certified in exactly this work.

Understanding Partner Betrayal Trauma

Discovering your partner's addiction can shake everything you thought you knew.

Whether you found out through a painful discovery or a staggered series of disclosures, learning that your partner struggles with sex or pornography addiction is traumatic. Your mind races. Your body won't settle. You replay everything, wondering what was real.

If you feel like you're losing your grip, you're not. You're having a normal trauma response to a profound betrayal.

For years, partners were told their pain was codependency or overreaction. It isn't. Your hypervigilance, your need for answers, your waves of grief and anger... these are your nervous system trying to protect you. And they can heal.

How I Work

As a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist (CSAT) and Certified Partner Trauma Therapist (CPTT), I'm trained specifically to support partners through this experience. My focus is your healing, not managing your partner's recovery. I don't work with couples... this space is just for you.

  • For adults 18+ whose partner struggles with sexual or pornography addiction

  • Partner-sensitive, trauma-informed approach; your responses are treated as trauma, never labeled codependency

  • Nervous system-based work to help your body feel safe again

  • Use of EMDR, ART, IFS, and attachment-based modalities

  • Individual therapy only, focused entirely on you

"It’s difficult to put into words all the ways that Jennifer’s gift to help others has blessed my life. I tell everyone I know about how wonderful she is because I want them to experience the healing I have! I’ve been going to Jennifer for about 8 years, having suffered from PTSD, deep loss, depression, and betrayal trauma. Therapy with Jennifer has not only given me the knowledge and tools to find the strength to get through it all, but has helped me HEAL.

She has an unmatched ability to know what you need, how to help you put words to experiences, and how to help you understand why you feel the way you do (and that it’s okay to feel that way!). We have used EMDR and ART together and I know that they have helped me immensely!

These techniques have helped me to process my trauma and memories and I have been able to find peace and experience joy in my life moving forward. Therapy truly saved my life. My gratitude for her is immeasurable. "
